Website Review
CrowdBuilder is a
step-by-step publicity execution system that incorporates all of the tools,
systems, templates, expert knowledge, reporting and on-call expert public
relations talent needed to help companies gain the visibility they need to
skyrocket to success in as little as 6 weeks. This program is not only focused
on generating publicity–it helps business owners build a strong and reputable
company no matter their budget. In addition to providing an in-depth publicity
execution plan, this program walks you through the process of building your
brand, attracting high quality social media followers, increasing sales through
high-quality messaging, and even helps you to create messaging that will
increase your chances of raising capital.
This

looking to learn how to attract media attention. People who have executed this
plan have gone from little to no media results to scoring dozens of mentions
per quarter in top-tier publications. This program has been used to cross-train
customer service and marketing staff to execute publicity for their firms as
well as founders launching their first crowdfunding campaign.
CrowdBuilder™
includes: proven and tested publicity strategies, reporting and tracking,
database management, custom built media lists, industry specific editorial
calendars, discounted press release distribution services, scheduling, and
on-demand help from expert PR professionals—giving small businesses the ability

NOcamels On Mimoona
Now Israel is the
latest player to hop on with its own equivalent of Kickstarter, called Mimoona
(Mimoona is the Hebrew word for “funding” and also a sweet-filled celebration
to break the Jewish holiday of Passover.) The site, founded by Nadav
Trenter Moser and Arik Marmorstein, has already seen more than NIS 2
million ($ 560,000) in projects funded by the crowd, which has allowed the
startup to remain self-funded by taking commissions.
But Trenter Moser and Marmorstein say they’ve
done things differently. According to hem, the abundance of projects looking
for crowdfunding sometimes stops those with merit eaching the funds they
need. That’s how they came up with the concept of “Plug & Fund” to
make asking for money over the internet that much easier.
The Plug & Fund
platform, still in beta stage, sets out to solve some
inherent problems with crowdfunding. “The major problem is a marketing problem.
People upload projects to crowdfunding websites and then need to generate
traffic, but most people do not know how to go about making their project stand
out,” the founders tell NoCamels. Indeed, if you know anyone who has ever put
up a crowdfunding effort, they will tell you that the most difficult part is
attracting enough traffic to the project. (This is probably because the
majority of people do not spend their time looking for home-grown projects to
spend their money on.) More Information

BancBox Crowd
BancBox Crowd, what is — as far
as we can tell — the first independent escrow service aimed at crowdfunding
portals that operate on equity, debt or revenue share models.
The company is also announcing partnerships with crowd
investing services 99Funding, SoMoLend and Localstake.
BancBox Crowd claims to be the only solution on the
market that provides online investment portals with an automated escrow
solution that can replace the manual paper escrow process. They also say it is
compliant with FINCEN, FINRA and SEC requirements.
In essence it means being able to create independent
escrow accounts for each crowd-backed project, collect funds from those many
investors, and either safely return funds if the project doesn’t work out, or
disburse those funds when the project, whatever it is, reaches its funding
goal.
Goyle says: “We want to have the payment part of the
experience of an investor to be a sticky experience so we make it as easy as
possible to pay and go through the process.” He says the business model is
based on a set transaction fee to the platform partner.

Guardian Witness
Guardian Witness about:
GuardianWitness is
our new home for content you've created, online and on your mobile. You can
contribute your video, pictures and text, and browse all the news, reviews and
creations submitted by others. Posts will be reviewed by our team and suitable
contributions will be published on GuardianWitness, with the best pieces
featured on the Guardian site – you could even help shape the news agenda.
Contributions fall into three main categories:
1) Assignments. Editors will issue call-outs for your
input on a wide range of topics - be it a photograph of the first daffodils,
your filmed thoughts on the latest cinema release or a witty re-imagination of
a sporting event.
2) Live news tie-ins. Our editors and reporters will
sometimes flag live blogs as suitable for contributions, which will enable you
to be part of a breaking or fast-moving story. We'll include the best
contributions in the live blog - for instance your experiences of austerity
protests around the world or your videos of the latest extreme weather event.
3) Open suggestions. This is where you can send us something that we
haven't requested. There are two main elements.
1) Send us a story: This might be a tip-off or something you may have witnessed
in your local area that you think we might want to see. We're always looking
for unreported stories, so we would like to hear about things that we might
decide to follow up as a story for the Guardian.
2) Send us your assignment ideas: Have you got an idea that your think other
Guardian readers would like to participate in? It might be a simple but
beautiful idea such as asking everyone to take a picture at a certain time of
day or it might be a way of investigating an issue in more detail. For example
asking everyone to share the cost of parking at their local hospital. Or it
might simply be an interesting or funny assignment idea which doesn't fit into
any of our current assignments.
Assignments
will be updated regularly so check back for new assignments and contributions. The
GuardianWitness badge will appear in lots of places where you can get involved
on the Guardian site, so keep an eye out for it on your favourite areas.
The
project is supported by EE, the first providers of 4G in Britain, who are
transforming the way people share news, information and entertainment. 4G works
up to five times faster than 3G so you can upload and download photos, videos
and stories more quickly than on traditional mobile networks. With EE, you're
part of a network for the new digital age.
Things you should know

the image, video or text was originally created by you, you will still own it. If

Altruja
- 2. Platz im Businessplan-Wettbewerb 2010
- Auszeichnung Doing Good and Doing Well 2010
2011 Finalist der Internet World Business Idee.

Build Teams Before It's Too Late!
What founders need to know about building management teams
Eric Vishria, CEO and Co-founder of RockMelt:
If you aren’t working on building your management team now, then start
Executive recruiting is a pain in the ass. Finding
the right people is a pain in the ass, interviewing them is a pain in the ass,
closing them is a pain in the ass, compensation negotiation is a pain in the
ass; just about everything related to hiring management is painfully
time-consuming.
So start now and don’t stop. Don’t wait until
you hit a big milestone to build your management team.
Getting clear
Once you’ve identified the position you want to fill
first on your management team, get incredibly clear on what you need (and don't
need) from that position. This is the hardest thing to do, and it’s
radically different from drafting a job description. If you do this well,
it’ll allow you to cut down the actual time involved in filling the
position. This seems obvious, but it almost never happens.
At RockMeIt, for instance, they wanted to bring on
their first marketing leader and thought they wanted someone who was great at
paid user acquisition, someone who understood virality, someone who had done
historically well with PR, and someone who had a track record of building
long-term brands. The problem is that nobody
is great at all four of those things. That person doesn’t exist
– or if they do, there is probably only a few of them and the chance of
recruiting them is almost zero. Instead, you should hire for strength in
a couple of areas that matter most to your business right now, someone who’s
world-class in the area that’s most impactful for you. You want to avoid
bringing on someone who’s merely good at everything. The goal in hiring
is always world-class, not good. View Full Text at firstround.com
About RockMelt
Rockmelt got started in 2009 with a simple vision:
make exploring the web faster and more fun. The majority of computer time is in
the browser. In fact, the only activity people do more than browse the web is
sleep. They think that's a big opportunity.
Founded by Eric Vishria (CEO) and Tim
Howes (CTO) based on the observation that the way we all use the web has
changed dramatically while web browsers have not, Rockmelt is re-imagining what
browsing the web should be: mobile, visual, social, and personalized. They released a desktop browser in November 2010. Since then, they have also released
Rockmelt for iOS in late 2012.
Rockmelt has raised $40M from some of the technology
industry's greatest innovators, including Andreessen Horowitz, Accel Partners,
Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital and industry legends Bill Campbell, Ron
Conway and Diane Greene. In addition to Eric and Tim, our board of directors
includes Marc Andreessen, Jim Breyer, and Vinod Khosla.

Decide with Zipinion
New Platform for instant crowdsourced feedback
Yesterday Zipinion, a technology company with focuses in the market
research and customer insight spaces, announced the release of its
ground-breaking crowdsourced polling application. Companies large and
small can now create an online poll/survey and get real-time feedback
from a pool of over 500,000 respondents in just minutes. Zipinion’s
platform is the fastest and most affordable way to ask questions and get
valuable, reliable responses helping business make better decisions.
“The idea for Zipinion was born when we looked deeply into how
business decisions are made today,” describes Zipinion’s GM/Partner
Michael Gualano. In most cases advertising, social media, and countless
other decisions are bounced around the office between friends and
colleagues for feedback. This helps but can be biased and subjective.
We’re excited to bring a low cost objective solution that will literally
reinvent how decisions are being made.” Read more

Tame macht Twitter relevant
Ausserdem kostenfrei. Was will man mehr.

Talking To The Crowd
What they do:
How they work:
kriticalmass allows
you to post a project in minutes. You have complete control and responsibility
over your project. Want to build a school for underprivileged kids? Want
to make a movie? Want to launch your own fashion collection? This is the
perfect place to do it! List your project in minutes, set your kriticalmass
targets and get started!
If people out there
like what you have in mind, supporters, promoters and cash will flock to you.
On kriticalmass we
allow 2 types of projects:
For profit: All or
nothing funding. If the project reaches the goal its publisher has set by the
deadline he chose. the project will be considered successful and the funds
transferred to the Project Publishers account. If the project fails to reach
kriticalmass, then all charges will be refunded within 7 working days after the
end of the project deadline.
Charity focused: These
projects do not need to reach the kriticalmass element before the funds are
transferred to the project publisher. At kriticalmass we believe that any money
going to a charitable cause makes a difference. Funds will be transferred
to the project creator 7 days after the project deadline has been reached.
Why they think they're revolutionary:
We believe we are
the first platform that is actually talking to the crowd. Some key points
differentiate us from our competitors. Firstly we have a much closer
integration to social media than most platforms out there. We believe that some
successful platforms available today actually make it difficult for people to
share their project and rather than helping projects go viral, they hinder it
through lots of friction. Have a play on the platform! You will notice this
very quickly. Secondly we allow people to interact with your project on a
number of different levels other than just cash. This comes from our personal
experience and from a great deal of research we carried out on crowd funded
projects. Interacting with projects is crucial for a project’s success,
therefore we have given people, who might not be able to come to the event you
are organizing through kriticalmass, the opportunity to help out either by just
liking your project on Facebook, publishing it to their wall for their friends
to see, or becoming an actual promoter of your project. These things make a
huge difference. They are what makes a party go from 500 to 20,000 people.
It's kriticalmass
