The writer of Venus/Mars - Patrice Etienne was born and bred in Hackney, East London and continues to live there.  He started writing after rembering how beautiful it was to have his mother read to him at the end of his bed.  He wants all of us to remember that feeling when we enage in his work and like every talented writer he his celebrating the art of good storytelling.
